Grittarin “Caliph” Wecharangsee is an alternative–soul–rock musician known for his warm bass tone, fluid melodic touch, and natural sense of support that subtly shapes the emotional core of every track he plays on. For more than two decades, he has been recognized as a creator of distinct musical “atmospheres” within the Thai music scene.

His journey spans major-label projects under RS Promotion, collaborative works with SLUR, and significant contributions to the golden-era sound of Sqweez Animal both on stage and in studio recordings.

Today, even as he operates his own business, Caliph still returns to the stage at pivotal moments. In the latest major concert of Sqweez Animal, he appeared as a “secret guest bassist”, sparking strong reactions and attention across social media.
